When its time to start uploading your evidence to support your Grade Assessment (GA) certification application, you will need to purchase your course, if you or your employer have not done so already.
Once your Grade Assessment course has been purchased:
- Log into your MTCS Online account
- Navigate to your ‘Dashboard’
- From here, access the course you wish to upload evidence to
You may need to acknowledge that you have read the introduction section by ticking the box, or clicking on the button to confirm.
Each course has an Evidence Upload Area which is divided into sections for the different types of evidence.
Go into the section item you want to upload to, then ensure you read and understand the requirements, and double-check all the necessary information has in fact been included on your document.
Once you are satisfied that all information is present and correct, scroll down to the bottom and there is a section called ‘Submission Status’. From here, go to ‘Upload Evidence’.
The File Submission box will then appear, and you are given the option to ‘drag and drop’ your files into it.
Private Files
Alternatively, if you have been saving files into your ‘Private Files’ area on MTCS Online, you can access these through the top left icon in the File Submission box, which says ‘Add’ when you hover over it.
You can select and upload multiple files into the submission box at once if you want to.
Once you have uploaded your evidence, it WILL NOT be automatically submitted for verification. This means you can come back into the item and upload or alter the evidence you have already submitted by selecting ‘Make changes to uploaded evidence.’
When you are confident that you have uploaded all the evidence you need to for that item, you can select ‘Submit for Verification’.
You will then be taken to the next step which asks you to confirm the submission is your own work and is submitted in accordance and agreement with the MTCS Malpractice Policy.
PLEASE BE AWARE: once you have submitted your evidence for verification, the item is locked, and you will not be able to make any more changes.
To stay on track and know where you are up to in the process
Go into the Course and, on the right hand side, there should be a ‘Completion Progress’ option. The bars of this will start of as blue and, as you progress and complete an item, they will turn initially yellow once submitted, and then green once successfully verified.
