MTCS are very proud of our accreditations and the quality of training which is reflected in the various industry associations. MTCS considers quality to be of the utmost importance when assessing competence and awarding industry recognised certificates. For this reason MTCS has ensured that we are audited by external training and assessment centres.
EAL is the UK’s leading awarding body for engineering National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs). The organisation is responsible for awarding qualifications through approved assessment centres. MTCS is an approved centre to award Assessor and Internal Verifier NVQ awards to senior team members who are responsible for assessing personnel offshore. Candidates working through this scheme are eligible for these awards at the discretion of MTCS and their managers.
IMCA is the trade association for the Offshore Construction, Diving, ROV and Hydrographic Survey industry. The association is made up of operating companies and provides guidelines on best practice for offshore operations.
MTCS is approved by ILM to deliver Supervisor, Leadership and Management training. Candidates successfully undertaking these courses may gain internationally recognised ILM qualifications.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the training and assessment process that MTCS supplies. ISO9001 prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. It is designed and intended to apply to virtually any product or service, made by any process anywhere in the world.
RenewableUK is the UK’s leading renewable energy trade association, specialising in onshore wind, offshore wind, and wave & tidal energy. Formed in 1978, RenewableUK have a large established corporate membership, ranging from small independent companies to large international corporations and manufacturers.
