ROV technicians and engineers not only require a fundamental knowledge of ROV hydraulic systems, but often also benefit from cross training beyond electrical and electronic disciplines. To help your team multi skill, we’ve designed a corporate High Pressure Hydraulics training course.

Course Overview

Over a 2 day course candidates will learn hydraulic theory and high pressure hydraulic safety. If your team are familiar with general hydraulic principles, this will also function as an industry specific primer.

We also recommend the course for personnel assigned to operation and maintenance of ROV Launch and Recovery (LARS) systems.

We can deliver this course at client facilities throughout the world and will provide practical content if suitable workshop facilities and equipment are available. Our corporate course can be focused on specific systems, policies and procedures applicable to the client.

Candidate Requirements

The course is designed for electrically biased engineers with little or no experience in hydraulic systems to become full-fledged ROV technicians and engineers.

A certificate of ‘Successful Completion of Training in ROV Hydraulic Systems’ will be provided to candidates who successfully complete the course.

The course is also suitable for personnel working with Electric ROVs deployed via hydraulically powered Launch and Recovery/TMS systems.
